The Fibre Remote III Dual Link solution is a KVM Extender over fibre. With this KVM Extender it is possible to transmit signals from one PC with dual video outputs via one single-mode fibre optic cable.

The workstation’s video can be connected to the transmitter as either a digital (DVI-D) or analogue (DVI-A) signal.

The output signal on the receiver side is always digital (DVI-D).

USB to PS/2 adapters can be used for PS/2 keyboards and mouse devices at the desk.

Transmission

Remoted links are transmitted over single-mode fiber optic cable. Distances up to 4km are possible with Fibre Remote III.  Even longer distances can be realised using additional measures.

A multi-mode (OM3, duplex) version is available for distances up to 300 m.
