Global Account Manager (m/f/d)

Job description

  • Significantly grow revenue from the System Integrator accounts by upsell on renewals and by identifying additional new business
  • Understand where global opportunity exists in each account, and work closely with the local and HQ team to coordinate strategies for account expansion
  • Recording of customer requirements regarding the modification of products and services 
  • Coordination with regional sales offices and the local organization of the key account
  • Cooperation with the product development area 
  • Be well informed about markets, products, industries and technical developments 
  • Work out new market strategies 
  • Analyze and show sales potential 
  • Optimize the price-performance ratio
  • Act as Voice of Customer and advocate to our Product Development and Marketing organization, to educate us on the needs of and opportunities within our largest System Integrators, and where we can grow to stay competitive
  • Build account plans for your accounts to understand key decision makers, org charts, current investment, product utilization and new revenue opportunity
  • Represent WEYTEC at client events, speak publicly to large groups as needed
  • Run a quarterly business review with all your key clients to understand their key company initiatives, review product utilization, provide key updates on WEYTEC and our expanding portfolio of offerings, and sell solutions that will address key sales initiatives
  • Reports to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO)

Formal requirements

  • BA/BS degree in a related field
  • Relevant graduate education in a related field
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, comfort selling into senior executive leadership & C-suite
  • Experience managing global accounts or multi country sales
  • Experience selling to and influencing EVPs, CROs and end-users in both individual and team sale environments
  • 10+ years of experience in quota-carrying roles
  • Flexibility to travel 30-50%

 

Professional competences

  • AV or KVM experience or network knowledge with a high degree of service and customer orientation
  • Experience in dealing with system critical systems
  • Experience in multinational sales or sales into complex global accounts
  • Experience in dealing with partners
  • Excellent English and German skills
  • A solid understanding of economic correlations
  • Good communication and negotiation skills
  • Analytical capabilities
