  • Experienced leader with a strong background in Field Management / Field Service
  • Proven experience in leading complex technical field service organizations
  • Experience in project-based environments and KPI-driven performance management
  • Excellent knowledge of current systems and tools for planning, scheduling, and managing technical field service organizations
  • Good understanding of ICT infrastructures and strong networking expertise
  • Experience working within an internationally operating field service organization
  • For this position, experience across diverse customer environments and different organizational settings is considered particularly valuable

Your Impact:

  • You will be responsible for Field Service operations across Switzerland, the Benelux countries, the Nordic region, the Middle East, and Africa. Through two Team Leaders, you will lead and develop an organization of approximately 15 employees.
  • You will plan field assignments, capacities, and required skill sets across multiple markets, ensuring that customer projects are delivered on time, to the required quality standards, and within budget.
  • You will manage and steer the technical Field Service organization using reliable KPIs, including utilization, on-time delivery, project progress, quality, and costs. You will identify deviations at an early stage and implement effective corrective actions.
  • You will continuously improve Field Management processes and the digital systems used for scheduling, project management, documentation, and reporting. You will ensure reliable data and transparent, efficient workflows.
  • In the event of technical or operational escalations, you will coordinate activities across Field Service, Project Management, Sales, Production Planning, Engineering, as well as customers and partners. Your ICT and networking expertise will enable you to assess root causes and make well-informed decisions.
  • You will strengthen standards, onboarding, and knowledge transfer across the teams and adapt collaboration with external partners to the specific requirements of each market.

Your Experience and Competencies:

  • Several years of leadership experience in Field Management within a decentralized technical field service organization, with teams operating directly at customer sites. You have a proven track record of responsibility for workforce planning, performance management, and team development.
  • Experience in measuring and managing complex technical field service organizations in a project-driven environment. You have implemented or worked with KPI frameworks, managed capacities and budgets, and successfully delivered operational improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with modern Field Service Management systems and related tools, for example for workforce scheduling, ticketing, project execution, and reporting. You are able to assess and further develop processes and data flows from both an operational and business perspective.
  • Strong ICT expertise, particularly in network technologies and IT system environments. You are comfortable discussing technical dependencies related to installation, integration, and troubleshooting with technical specialists and customers. Your experience also includes hands-on technical work at customer sites or responsibility for leading such field operations; a purely internal ICT background alone is not sufficient.
  • Experience working within an international technical field service organization. You have coordinated field operations and standards across national borders, working with local teams and/or partners.
  • A higher-level qualification in ICT, Systems Engineering, Business Information Systems, or a comparable field. Additional training or qualifications in business administration are an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills, analytical thinking, and confidence in managing escalations. Excellent German and English language skills, with English at a minimum of B2 level.
