The Infraserv GmbH & Co. Höchst KG combined heat and power plant supplies the Industriepark Höchst with electrical energy and industrial steam power. Ongoing operations and industrial processes are managed and monitored in a 24/7 control room on campus.
WEYTEC modernized the Höchst control room, administration offices and a conference room with a KVM workplace and video wall solution. All of the Höchst computers were relocated to a centralized system room and an emergency back up room, in order to house them more securely and cool them more efficiently. Operators now control all systems, screens and the video wall with a single smartTOUCH keyboard on each desk. And because the rooms are distributed across the large Höchst facility outside of Frankurt, Germany, the new WEYTEC solution provides the network architecture and infrastructure to integrate multiple locations over long distances.
