WEYTEC is now certified according to ISO 27001 and meets the requirements of the NIS2 Directive

WEYTEC is the specialist in intelligent workplace solutions in control rooms and on trading floors. WEYTEC is also a byword for tested quality and trust.

Top-notch quality, safety and responsibility towards people and the environment are a matter of course for us at WEYTEC. In an increasingly networked world, trust is also a decisive factor – especially when working with partners and customers. Our official certifications underline our commitment to information security and regulatory standards. They confirm in black and white that WEYTEC solutions not only optimize workplaces and processes, but also protect data and systems.

Focus on quality and security management
In addition to established ISO certifications for management systems and processes, WEYTEC also has REACH and RoHS certifications. These additional certifications confirm the safety of our products with regard to health and the environment. New additions include information security certification according to ISO 27001 and compliance with the requirements of the NIS2 directive.

Our key success factors in global competition include customer satisfaction and customer focus, process efficiency and the ability to respond quickly and flexibly to market requirements. Quality management in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 is internationally recognized proof of reliability vis-à-vis customers, partners, suppliers and stakeholders. At the same time, it serves as a compass for our employees to maintain a continuous improvement process within the company. The entire company is regularly audited by the Swiss Association for Quality and Management Systems (SQS) as part of ISO audits. In addition, a quality assurance system has been established that enables the company to meet all requirements of the ISO 9001:2015 quality assurance standard, to control processes and to continuously improve them.

ISO/IEC 27001: the benchmark of data security

Today, IT security is not just a technical issue, but a critical success factor. In the business context, it means availability, integrity and confidentiality in every system environment, creating a reliable basis for day-to-day decisions.

ISO/IEC 27001 is the leading international standard for information security management systems (ISMS). It enables companies to establish and continuously maintain an effective information security management system. With certification according to ISO 27001, it has now been officially confirmed that WEYTEC meets the highest international standards for information and data security. This makes information security within the organization more transparent and strengthens cyber resilience long-term. The certification covers all of our organizational units in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

As part of the certification process, the external auditors highlighted the following strengths of WEYTEC in particular:

  • Professional implementation and structure of the information security management system (ISMS)
  • High level of awareness and expertise among all employees in relation to data protection and IT security
  • Consistent compliance with regulatory requirements – including ISO 27001, applicable data protection guidelines and the NIS2 Directive
  • Outstanding processes and documentation relating to IT security, risk management and incident handling

NIS2 compliance: a further step towards comprehensive cyber resilience

In connection with the ISO 27001 certification, WEYTEC also ensured compliance with all requirements of the new European directive NIS2. The Network and Information Systems Directive 2 (NIS2) is a key component of the EU-wide cyber resilience strategy. It obligates operators of critical infrastructures and their suppliers to meet significantly higher security standards. Compliance with these requirements (also known as NIS2-compliance) is an important step for WEYTEC to ensure maximum security and legal compliance for customers in sensitive and regulated areas.

By fulfilling the NIS2 requirements, we confirm that

  • Our IT infrastructures are optimally protected
  • Risks are systematically identified and reduced
  • We are well prepared for security incidents and can report them transparently
