As a Field Service Engineer at WEYTEC US, you will become a key technical expert for our innovative workplace solutions. Based in Washington, D.C., you will be part of an agile, family-oriented team working together to implement, support, and continuously improve WEYTEC’s smart solutions for customers across the Americas.

Through WEYTEC’s comprehensive training programs, you will develop deep technical expertise and become the face of WEYTEC for our customers.

Your Impact:

  • Manage support tickets and resolve technical issues for WEYTEC systems
  • Install, configure, and maintain WEYTEC solutions at customer sites
  • Provide technical support remotely, by phone, email, and on-site
  • Collaborate with the Swiss escalation team to ensure efficient issue resolution
  • Prepare and stage equipment for installations and support inventory processes
  • Conduct customer training and technical product demonstrations
  • Create maintenance and service reports and support technical tasks in the office and showroom
  • Travel as required, including occasional international travel

Your Experience and Competencies:

  • Experience in technical support, customer service, or a similar technical role
  • 4+ years of experience in computer, electrical, audiovisual, or IT environments, or a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
  • Basic knowledge of networking and common protocols such as LAN, TCP/IP, and DHCP
  • Experience with computer hardware, Windows operating systems, and technical troubleshooting
  • Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and take ownership of responsibilities
  • Experience with video-over-IP, streaming protocols, or network switch configuration is a plus
  • Valid driver’s license, passport eligibility, and U.S. citizenship required
